The Village of Evendale
Special Council Meeting
January 11, 2007
The Village of Evendale held a Special Council Meeting at 6:45 pm on January 11, 2007 to adopt a Resolution regarding Council’s decision on the police grievance of Officer Tim Holloway and Officer Jeff McDaniel over the calculation of seniority for the purpose of the Police Sergeant Eligibility List, which grievances were processed in conformance with the provisions of Chapter 258 of the Codified Ordinances of the Village of Evendale.
The Special Meeting was called to order by President of Council, Stiney Vonderhaar. Upon roll call, the following council members were present: Mr. Douglas Lohmeier, Mr. Bill Puthoff, Jr., Mr. Stiney Vonderhaar, Mr. Christian Schaefer and Mrs. Carolyn Smiley-Robertson. Mayor Apking was absent and excused and Mr. Jeff Albrinck was absent and excused. Also present were Assistant to the Mayor, Jack Cameron; and Village Clerk, Michelle Ficke.
President of Council, Stiney Vonderhaar presented Resolution #07-03, RESOLUTION DECIDING THE GRIEVANCES OF OFFICERS TIM HOLLOWAY AND JEFF McDANIEL. A motion to read Resolution #07-03 by title only was made by Mr. Puthoff, seconded by Mr. Schaefer and unanimously approved on roll call. A motion to suspend the second and third readings of Resolution #07-03 was made by Mr. Schaefer, seconded by Mr. Puthoff and unanimously approved on roll call. A motion to adopt Resolution #07-03 was made by Mrs. Smiley-Robertson, seconded by Mr. Puthoff and unanimously approved on roll call. Mr. Vonderhaar declared Resolution #07-03 adopted.
There be no further business to come before council, a motion to adjourn was made by Mr. Puthoff, seconded by Mr. Lohmeier and unanimously approved. Council adjourned at 6:55 pm.
